In short

Serene is a 133.9-metre motor yacht that Fincantieri delivered at its Muggiano yard near La Spezia in August 2011; she was the Italian group's first superyacht and, at delivery, the largest yacht ever built in Italy; Fincantieri's 140-metre Ocean Victory (2014) has since taken that title (Fincantieri, Boat International). Espen Øino drew the concept and exterior and Reymond Langton Design the interior; she has seven decks, about 4,500 square metres of interior space, two helipads with a hangar, a seawater pool that can take service craft, and a submarine certified to 100 metres (Fincantieri, Boat International). Boat International says she was built for a Russian owner, and The New York Times reported in October 2016, citing an associate of Shefler and a Saudi close to the royal family, that Mohammed bin Salman, then Saudi Arabia's deputy crown prince, had bought her from Yuri Shefler the previous year for about €500 million (Boat International, The New York Times). She ranks 25th by length in Boat International's list of the largest yachts and is not offered for charter (Boat International, YachtCharterFleet).
